Modern Twist Brings Eco Friendly Fun to Mealtime

As a mom, it’s always nice to find something that brings a little fun to mealtime and I’ve found that with the Kidz Placemats from Modern Twist. My little guy was completely enthralled with coloring his own placemat before mealtime and it made him more invested when it came time to eat.

Modern Twist brings home the notion that what you eat on is just as important as what you eat. Collaborating with unique talents from the independent art scene, Modern-Twist brings design to even the littlest table. Made from silky food-grade, hand silk-screened silicone, the mats won’t crease or rip. The placemats create a non-porous germ free surface and are free of BPA, lead, latex, phthalates and other harsh chemicals.

We were able to sample the Farm to Table design, which was not only super stylish but provided a great easy to understand lesson about where our food comes from. The mat comes with six vibrant dry erase markers, which are made from 70 percent recycled materials. Kids can draw and draw again, as the mats are fully washable and reusable.

We’ve already taken ours to restaurants and more. It’s great for a quick activity to keep little hands busy.

I was happy to see that these placemats also come in great designs for grown ups as well. I love the Jardin design with simple plum colors on a clear background.

Check out the ModernTwist website for these and other eco-chic products such as studio doileez, trivets, coasters and more. They really have such a fantastic line of products that you’ll want to check out to bring a little something extra to your table.

Moms, how do you strive to bring earth-friendly, sustainable elements into your home?
