Toddlers are fun!

As a first time mom, I heard so many things about toddlerhood. Yes, the tantrums are very real, but not one person mentioned to me how fun toddlers can be! I have to say that I am truly loving this phase. Their little personalities are growing, as well as their vocabulary, and they start to show real independence. While every stage has its ups and downs, I’m here to tell you that toddlers are extremely fun!

2016 Toddler Styles You Will Love

I can’t think of a better way to start out a new year than by showing you and your little tot some fun toddler pieces! These items are as fun as your toddler’s personality and certainly as expressive.

1. Anchor and Adorn Shirts

These shirts definitely make a statement! They are as adorable as they are comfortable. Anchor and Adorn have a wide variety of handmade items that are super cute and one of a kind. If my little guy has a say in his outfit, he runs to these shirts! (Donut Worry Tee, Anchor and Adorn, $30)

2. Skip Hop Zoo Collection Raincoats

If I’m being honest, I will admit that every rainy day needs some added fun. My little guy provides the sunshine, but a fun raincoat can definitely take things to the next level! We love putting on our lively rain gear and finding the biggest puddles to jump in. (Zoo Collection Little Kid Raincoat, Skip Hop, $35)

3. Babiators Toddler Sunglasses

Stylish and adorable, my toddler thinks he can conquer the world in these. My favorite part is that Babiators will replace these sunglasses if they are lost or broken within a year of purchase, and with a toddler, that is almost certain to happen! (Original Babiators Sunglasses, Babiators, $20)

4. PALS Socks

I cannot handle the cuteness of these PALS socks. My little guy loves to dress himself and these mismatch socks totally fit his entertaining personality. These socks can remind us to be true to ourselves, unique and different! Not only because they are fun, but they are also thick, cozy, and he doesn’t slip in them. I’m seriously wanting to buy the adult ones! (Mighty Mates Pals Toddler Socks Gift Box, Pals Socks, $20)

5. Toddler Monster Hats

Winter in the Midwest can be miserable, but I can’t help and smile when my tot asks for his monster hat. Critter monster hats are certainly charming and my favorite part is when my tot starts to “roar” at every one in the supermarket. (Toddlers’ Monster Critter Hat, L.L.Bean, $20)

2016 Styles That are Perfect for Toddlers6. Chooze Shoes Dinosaur Loafers

Durable, comfortable, and so fun! Chooze has a variety of fun options for little kids, but the mismatch dinosaur shoes are a personal favorite. These shoes have removable padded insoles, are made from vegan materials, and extremely durable for your adventurous toddler. I love how the loafers are so easy to slide on, because what mom has extra time to mess around with shoes? (Scout in Roar Loafers, Chooze, $49)

7. Stride Rite Unicorn Slippers

These serve the obvious purpose of keeping those feet warm, but the spunky charm of these slippers are sure to make your toddler smile. (Stride Rite Unicorn Light Up Slippers, Nordstrom, $25)

8. Elephant Toddler Backpack

My toddler loves to show his independence! It is nice to be able to throw some things in a toddler backpack that I would normally carry in a diaper bag and have him equally as excited to haul it around like a “big boy.” These backpacks are vibrant and unique all while having room for belongings. (Teacher’s Pet Backpack, Land of Nod, $29)
