I love the colors, patterns and style selection, but I was even more impressed with how thick, well-made and sturdy the Platypus Australia suits were. The seams are flat, so they don’t irritate the kids’ skin and there are no inside tags to scratch or bother them. The elastic on the suit easily stretched over a swim diaper and didn’t pinch. The fabric was quick-drying and breathed well. My picky preschooler didn’t complain once about wearing long-sleeves on a hot day at the beach and this mom loved that we could forgo wrestling him multiple times a day to reapply sunscreen on his arms and torso. 
I chose the UPF 50+ Sunshirt LS in Sky and the UPF 50+ Swim Shorts in Palm Tree (both part of the Azure collection) for my son. We both loved the outfit. He’s growing so fast that I ordered a size up than he currently wears so he could wear it as long as possible. The shirt’s a little big, but it was so comfortable on him and gave him a lot of room to move around and play without being restrictive or too tight.
For the baby, I chose the UPF 50+ Lace Frill Swimsuit in a beautiful light blue with pink ruffles. I can’t get over how adorable this suit is! I’m tempted to order it in every size it comes in so she has one for the next eight years of her life — I love it that much. And you know it’s stylish when super trendy celebrities like Jessica Alba are dressing their kids in the same suit! 
For older girls, I absolutely love the Castaway Collection with its bright reds and blue ruffles. Older boys (and husbands) will love the Turq Camo Collection.
