Summer style is simple. It requires two things; sandals and maxi dresses. When it’s hot outside the last thing you want to do is put on a pair of jeans, so the easiest way to look stylish and still be comfortable is with a maxi dress.
Every summer I buy at least three new maxi dresses and this year while shopping I was immediately drawn to all the colorful ocean blue hues. Buying a few less expensive maxi dresses at Old Navy or Target are great for everyday but you may need one that is a little bit dressier for special events or a summertime wedding. I’ve bought plenty of those inexpensive maxi dresses and sometimes they don’t wash up as nice, shrink or the hem seams to come apart. So investing in one or two that will last for a few summers or a few great vacations is a good idea.
