I always keep my eyes peeled for unexpected decor items to add to my daughter’s bedroom. When I saw Critter Sitters I fell for this adorable llama stool. I knew it would be the perfect stool for my girl to pretend with, as well as be a nice little spot for me to put my feet up while we read stories. It is also the perfect height and look to add some pizzaz to your nursing nook or big girl bedroom. I never loved the look of matchy-matchy glider and ottomans and the critter sitter is the perfect answer to this conundrum. Having items that will be multipurpose and grow with kids is number one in my book.
Comfortably cozy and sturdy for kids
The Critter Sitter llama stool is super soft with very thick plush. The softness and plushness actually surprised me when I pulled it out of the box. I love the detailing of the wooden legs, it looks and feels like a very high quality piece. It is also already equipped with felt pads so you don’t have to worry about damaging hardwood floors. This stool is also very study, I know I am not going to worry about it breaking when the kids decide to sit on it and go for a ride.
My daughter has spent lots of time petting her new friend and reading to him. She also loves that she can put all of her treasures inside. I am thrilled to have a new toy for her that is also such a fun conversation piece when people come over. Having something like this that is nontraditional always sparks interest for anyone who visits.
My daughter’s room has a southwestern, boho feel so the llama fits right in. We already had a sweet llama picture in her gallery wall so we were happy to continue the trend. I love decor that is functional as well as beautiful. This fun plush llama stool is not only so soft to play with, but also has a hidden storage compartment to store special items. In a nursery before baby can open it himself, this would be the perfect spot to stick some items you need in arms reach, but don’t want cluttered on a side table.
The llama stool will grow with your child
Additionally this is a fun piece for any playroom, it definitely isn’t only for the nursery. Kids would love having this sweet friend to sit on in a reading nook, or being able to pull it up to a table when friends come over to play blocks or color. One of my friends has a traditional ottoman in her living room filled with her sons’ matchbox cars. The critter sitter would be perfect for that hidden storage in a main living area as well. Full of diverse decorating options, this little guy would fit in just about anywhere.
