Still feeling blue that you miss out on the first awesome Diane Von Furstenberg + GAPKids collaboration? Well, cheer up, because she’s back, and this Spring 2013 children’s collection is better than ever! Yesterday, the famed fashion designer celebrated the world-premiere of the GapKids + DVF Explorers Collection with celebrities like Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet, and Alexis Stoudemire at GAP in New York City. Guests oohed and ahhed over the latest fashions that are sure to fly off the shelves, and now it’s your turn!

Designed for girls ages newborn to 14, the collection features Von Furstenberg’s signature colorful prints in a new and exotic twist. Inspired by African tribal prints there are rompers, printed skinny jeans, a miniature version of the designer’s iconic wrap dress, and – my personal favorite – a fun perfect-for-spring pleated swing dress. This is definitely a collection that will have moms wishing it came in their size. (Fret not moms, there is a diaper bag made just for you!) There’s even adorable accessories like sunglasses, swimming suits and espadrilles.

Prices in the collection range from $25-70 and all pieces are available today in stores, or online at Gap.com.

So what are you waiting for? Get shopping!

After a decade-long stint as an event planner, she is now a writer/editor for various websites and blogs about all thing lovely at her site, A Lovely State of Mind. She's hates trolling through unorganized sales racks and is obsessed with fashion, food, travel, pop culture, Instagramming, good design, and too many TV shows to count.
