There is no doubt that I have a little fashionista on my hands. Three of our favorite things to do are watch Project Runway, make fashion collages on Polyvore and go shoe shopping, so I really have no one to blame but myself. I still love to style her and for the most part she still let’s me, but I fear the day when I have no say in the matter. A few weeks ago I was sent a gorgeous blue box with an incredible pair of shoes inside and so I thought it was pretty funny when my daughter received her own special blue box with shoes the following week.
Inside were a pair of gorgeous boots called Bumbums.
These stylish belle boots come in three colors, licorice, shadow and caramel and they all have the signature plaid going down the back of the boot. An what makes these boots even more unique are the mix and match baubles that your lil’s sassy one can use to customize her boots. And if your girl has a friend with a pair of Bum Bums they can trade their baubles. Bumbums also has a Larken Mary Jane that also has the signature plaid and can also be decorated with the baubles.
My daughter has to wear a casual uniform to school and I tend to slightly break the rules from time to time with fun socks, leggings and shoes. I thought these caramel boots worked best with the blues she wears and gives it a little personality. The first day she wore her new boots I asked her if anyone liked her boots and she said “All the girls loved them and they kept wanting to switch the baubles around.” Her teacher even complimented her on how stylish they were.
