Fall Trendspotting: D’Orsay Flats

Shoe Trends

I do believe that flats were made for moms. They are the world’s best shoe for any mom that is required to take off her shoes twenty times a day to go up down the stairs in the house, run around the playground in the sand, go to Gymboree with the baby only to be told that there are no shoes allowed and they are easy to throw in your car should you need a last minute shoe change. Flats are every mom’s best friend. However, wearing just any old pair of ballet flats can get boring. This fall season, you can perk up your flat collection by snagging up a pair of D’Orsay flats which essentially are jazzed up ballet flats with the middle part of the shoe carved out and a pointed toe to create a “sexier” flat.

D’Orsay Flats

There are essentially three types of D’Orsay flats for the season that you can choose from and they all go with the fall’s latest trends like coated denim, full-figure skirts and jersey blazers to make a smart and stylish outfit. The ankle strap D’Orsay flat adds a little extra support should you be walking in your flats all day long, the printed and metallic flats are fun for the season and the peep-toe D’Orsay flat is a great alternative to sandals for when the weather starts changing but it’s not quite boot weather yet. So many choices…!

Are you in love with D’Orsay as much as I am?
