CircusBabyShowerIdeas

Planning a baby shower can be both fun and very stressful. To help you get started, you and the new mom-to-be should decide on the baby shower theme. If you know the gender of the baby, this will also help narrow down your baby shower theme choices. Once you have the theme you can start to search for baby shower invitations, decorations and the festive food that will go along with the theme.

Planning a baby shower is fun!

This month I am sharing some fun ideas on how to throw a circus-themed baby shower. I like this theme because it is colorful and fun and could be used for a gender-neutral baby shower. I started by collecting ideas and inspiration in my Springpad notebook. Here are my favorites from what I collected!

Circus Baby Shower

1. Circus Diaper Cake
2. Circus Tickets Centerpiece
3. Strawberry Donut Holes
4. Circus Baby Shower Invitations
5. Circus Peanuts Centerpiece
6. Circus Cupcakes
7. Hydrangea Popcorn Centerpieces
8. Carmel Popcorn Cones

Baby Shower Food

Baby Shower food should be simple and light but still filling. To help with the menu you can ask some guests to bring a salad, veggies or some fruit. You can also order deli sandwiches, wraps or salads from your favorite restaurant to make it easier on you. There is no shame in saving time and keeping your stress level to a minimum. Be sure to have something for vegetarians and be mindful of any food allergies.

1. Green Apple Slices with Tuna
2. Spinach Dip with Veggies in Baguettes
3. Bacon Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad
4. Deli Wraps

The baby shower signs are a fun way to make your event outside and let guests know they are in the right place. These printable Circus Party Signs I found on Etsy can be customized to say whatever you need! Simple Cutlery Sets, roll up the forks and knifes into napkins and simply use a clear vase to stand them up! This makes for an easy, inexpensive and colorful display on the food table. Use more glass vases to decorate by filling with the orange circus peanuts or real peanuts, and colorful lollipops. If you have any children attend the shower they can take them home as gifts!
