5 Gorgeous baby slings and wraps we love

In Baby, Kids by Kate Bayless2 Comments

Slings, wraps, front carriers or backpacks — baby carriers are a must-have for any parent. Carriers let you keep baby close while keeping your hands free for running errands, caring for other children, or for, you know, actually taking a moment to eat. Just because baby carriers are functional doesn’t mean that they can’t be fabulously stylish as well. We’ve rounded up five of our favorite modern baby slings and wraps to keep your little one close and you looking chic.

Sakura Bloom

1. Sakura Bloom

The beautiful ring slings from Sakura Bloom are the ultimate in baby carrying luxury. True statement pieces, these slings are not for the parent hoping to blend in. You are guaranteed to get comments and compliments. Their collection of silk and linen slings come in an incredible rainbow of fabrics from simple solids and heathered chambrays to bold shiboris and iridescent silks.

Solly Baby Wrap

2. Solly Baby Wrap

Based in sunny San Diego, Solly Baby makes some of our favorite lightweight baby wraps. Made out of super soft, sustainable, custom-dyed knit, these wraps are manufactured in Los Angeles and are the perfect warm-weather accessories for parents on-the-go. Choose from a variety of solids, a cute grey stripe, navy shibori or a new heather grey releasing in March. If you’ve ever been intimidated by a wrap, you’ll love how Solly Baby wraps won’t overwhelm your frame. Plus, they have an adorable Instagram feed featuring product tips and parents around the world using their wraps.

Joovy BabaSling

3. Joovy BabaSling

You may be familiar with Joovy, but did you know they make a fabulous sling too? If you’ve ever felt that a sling didn’t offer enough support, you’ll love the Joovy BabaSling. We love the five carry positions and two breastfeeding positions, extra padded shoulder for comfort, padded infant head support, and the ability to unbuckle the sling making it a breeze to put baby down one she falls asleep.

Tula Ring Sling

4. Tula Ring Slings

If you’ve never checked out Tula’s soft structured carriers, head on over to their website now, but if you’re in the market for a sling, we love Tula’s new ring slings. You’ll love the fun patterns and prints of these soft, but durable, woven slings. Suitable for children 8-35 lbs, Tula uses a special finishing process to make the fabric soft and wearable without any need to “break in” the material. Plus, you can order the sling in either a S/M or L/XL to ensure a good fit.

HotSlings

5. HotSlings

Warning: You will want one of these slings in every print! If you’re going to swath your body in fabric, let’s make it something stylish, yes? HotSlings to the rescue with their collection of more than a dozen modern prints. We’re digging the style savvy Horizon print, subdued Jett and the colorful Spectrum. The cotton/spandex blend provides the perfect amount of stretch and comfort, and you’ll love that this sling is machine washable.
