BabyBjorn brings a sleek and modern European class to the baby market like no one else can. BabyBjorn, a company founded by Bjorn Jakobsen in 1961 with the motto to make life easier for parents of babies has been creating high quality, innovative products for over 50 years.

This BabyBjorn motto of ultimate convenience and safety for children was the main component in the design of the Travel Crib Light 2. The travel crib was developed for newborns up to 3 years old. It does not have a recommended weight limit since the innovative design makes it possible for even an adult to stand inside of it. However, discontinuation of the travel crib is highly encouraged when the child is able to climb in and out of it.
The entire Travel Crib Light weights a mere 11 pounds, including the carrying case. The thick durable fabric of the compact carrying case makes carrying the travel crib secure and convenient and just like carrying a suitcase.

  1. I love that it is lightweight and portable making travel a lot easier!

  2. My tip for travelling with baby is to pack ahead and have a checklist. I don’t want to forget something simple like diapers or wipes!

  3. my tip for traveling baby is to bring plenty of entertainment for the little one.

  4. When prepping to travel with our baby, we stack everything we intend to take in a spot by the door the night before. That way, we can sleep easy, knowing that we’re ready to go in the morning and don’t have to “think” too much before heading out.

  5. My travel tip is to pack a few new toys/books so they hold my baby’s attention a little longer!

  6. If I won this I’d give it to my SIL & BIL so they can use it when they go to China to pick up their baby

  7. Taking new toys which my son hasnrt seen or played with.

  8. Bring snacks and toys/books! Make sure you have enough diapers and wipes!

  9. Make sure you have back ups on toys, food, clothes etc. It never hurts to have to much stuff 🙂

  10. Love this! I’m so tired of carrying 50lb pack-n-plays around.

  11. Traveling tip: We take Red Eyes when traveling, so that our little guy is tired and goes to sleep on our lap! Worked great when he was 8 mos old!

  12. Would love this for our trips!! I hate the cribs the hotels provide and this would be perfect!!!!

  13. Always bring plenty of kids cds! They love the music!

  14. As a frequent traveling family this travel crib would be amazing to have!

  15. I would love, love, love to have this travel crib. Our children have three sets of grandparents and it’s so difficult to let them sit for us when they don’t have a crib. This would be so handy. Not to mention the use it would get on hotel stays because we haven’t had great success with hotel cribs.

  16. When traveling with a little one – travel so baby has just eaten and is ready to sleep – this can make even a 3 hour trip with baby in the back easy! 🙂 We don’t have any baby pack an play yet – so this would be so amazing to win! Fingers crossed!

  17. Definitely have a checklist…mental one AND physical one! =] And pack extras!

  18. Bring plenty of snacks and dig up some toys they haven’t played with in a while!

  19. We LOVE musical toys. They distract our guy when he’s starting to get fussy, and they can lull him to sleep when the time’s right. Plus, we always make sure we have his favorite flannel blanket!

  20. I don’t have any tips yet because I’m expecting my first! I hope I remember some of this great advice.

  21. Look into buying a pack n play or highchair at your destination. Often times it’s cheaper than renting. Drop it off at a goodwill or church on your way out of town and it’s tax deductible too.

  22. My tip. Bring as many snacks as you can manage and get a lot of sleep before you travel.

  23. pre-pack ready made outfits in large zip lock bags. This way they are easy to take with you anywhere and you will not have to rummage to put things together when they need a quick change (which is quite frequently with my children).

  24. Always take plenty of differant toys to entertain baby and snacks!

  25. Bring a few changes of clothes to leave up front! Juice, Snacks, and lots of toys!

  26. Wrap presents – lots of snacks and patience- that is all I will say Is good luck!!

  27. This would be absolutely a lifesaver. Have to travel an hour each way to my parents, would make life so much easier once we get there.

  28. When we travel with a baby, we always make sure there is an adult in the back of the car to make sure we don’t have to stop 20+ times to feed them!!

  29. My first little one will be arriving in January so I don’t have any travel tips to share from my personal experience….but I will be reading over the ones shared here for future reference! 🙂 Thanks for sharing other mommies & daddies!

  30. Make sure youre not packing at the last minute! and have lots of toys and things to keepthem occupied.and make sure you take the things that can easily be bought at a store while youre gone

  31. This would make an amazing Christmas present for my sister who’s expecting in January.
