The Baba Sling is designed to carry babies from newborn to 2 years old (7.7 pounds to 33 pounds). Babies all the way up to toddlers can be carried in 6 different positions, 2 of which are excellent breast feeding positions. The large strap is easily adjustable and can be worn on either the left or right shoulder.
The Baba Sling is not only convenient, it is also safe! It has two buckles, a safety buckle and a large buckle that is easy to use with one hand and provides definitive safety (the safety buckle must always be used while wearing the Baba Sling). The 100% cotton fabric that is used is also thick and durable (and breathable too!) and soft which is perfect for babies soft skin. The padded railings along each side of the hammock help support and keep baby tucked inside.

I like to wear my 5 month old in the Baba Sling “Little Joey” position. He’s at that fun baby age of wanting to look at everything and this position allows him a front and center view of the world. I also utilize the “Koala Cuddle” position when he’s sleepy and needs a nap. The “Koala Cuddle” position affords ideal bonding and warmth.
The hidden pocket tucked within the folds of the hammock is really cool too. I love that Joovy thought of parents in mind and added this feature. It’s much more convenient to have a pocket within a hands reach rather than reaching for a diaper bag.
