I like your bottles. Kids want best and good looking water bottles. But I prefer thermos.
I was on a serious hunt for leak proof bottles for my kids lunch last year after discovering Funtainers leak. A lot. I found this post and purchased Contigos. They leak too :/ it’s a great bottle for travel, etc but I was disappointed when my kids lunch was soaked. Still searching for that perfect bottle.
I have to say that the contigo ones with the straw are THE WORST EVER!!! The straws always are falling out into the water bottle. The dumbest design I’ve ever seen. We eventually cut the straw off (it’s attached to an insert that makes the water bottle spill-proof. Unhappy kiddos & parents. I just threw it away because I noticed some mildew growing in the straw (although we rinsed it out daily as directed). I couldn’t be happier that it is out of our life! 😉 We like the Thermos Tritan kids one, but I hate the lack of color choices. If you’re a TMNT fan or can ignore the ugly graphics you can buy them at Target for >$10. Never had a problem with the straw, etc. We’ve had that one over 18 months. Sometimes the cheapest is the best. My 2 year old hates any with a bite valve system, so if you want to forgo that route, choose the Thermos brand one.
This looks like an ad for Contingo. I bought two 4-pack of Contingo Trakker for kids: 4.5 and 6 years old. The little one came one day with the button broken. My daughter actually was not so lucky. Within a year all her bottles started leaking one after another. I have to give her a new one from her brother but it started leaking after one day. They all leak at the spout and I see tiny cracks there for two of them but the other three that leaks look normal. Garbage!
