The Right Face Moisturizer For You

In Beauty by Guest Writer

Finding the right face moisturizer can be difficult because there are so many choices out there. The best way to start is to go by your particular skin type. One of my top recommendations for any moisturizer is that it have at least  an SPF of 15. While you should be putting on separate sunscreen, if that’s too much of a commitment at least you’ll know you are protected in some way when applying your daily moisturizer.

For normal skin try the Alba Botanica Sea Moss Moisturizer SPF 15 rich in anti-oxidants, promoting cell growth. That means keep you looking younger.

For sensitive skin I cannot recommend Eucerin Sensitive Facial Skin Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Sensitive Skin Lotion. A few years ago I developed eczema, and Eucerin is the only lotion that helped relieve and heal my skin.

For oily skin go with Aveeno Positively Ageless Daily Moisturizer SPF 42 + Antioxidants. In this case since I have oily skin I’ve tried a lot of moisturizers. I’ve loved so many of them, but always go back to Aveeno.

If you have dry skin you’ll be happy to know that La Roche-Posay Nutritic Transforming Care Ultra-fine Emulsion with Biolipids is sold at CVS. This great moisturizer absorbs quickly.

If you’re looking for a tinted moisturizer look no further than Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 20. This sheer moisturizer gives just a little bit of color that evens out the skin tone perfectly.

What’s your skin type? Do you have a great moisturizer to share? We’re all eyes.
