Three cheers for short coats!

Now that we’ve set our clocks back in preparation for the cold weather seasons, it’s time to get serious about finding a coat that’s not only chic and keeps you warm but also is budget-friendly —  the holiday season is coming up quickly! While it would make sense that one coat could do it all, there is something about wearing a field jacket with a party dress that just doesn’t make sense.

Mix it up, wear your coat anywhere

While some of us will brave the cold weather sans coat in favor of showcasing our stylish party frock, I for one will not be in the party mood if I show up to the party shivering from head-to-toe. Eliminate that scenario completely by adding a dressy coat to your winter wardrobe that will go with everything from sequin dresses and skirts to tuxedo pants and heels. Of course your sequin and metallic coats DON’T have to just be for parties and special occasions. For an everyday look, layer your dressy coat over a plain T-shirt and pair with jeans and loafers for a casual chic look.
