What happens when you ask the Savvy Sassy Moms Contributors what their favorite beauty product under $10 is? Here are the answers from the ladies who you read everyday here on Savvy Sassy Moms. Let me tell you there are a few here I am buying right away.
Christina of Mama To The Rescue says her favorite is the St. Ives Green Tea Face Scrub. She says, “it’s much more gentle than the apricot scrub and can be used everyday. It helps calm red skin.” As someone who sometimes at a loss as to what to suggest to someone with sensitive skin I love this tip.
Tina of My Highest Self has turned me on to another great e.l.f. Cosmetics $1 item. The All Over Color Stick is her favorite because, “These little color sticks are just $1.00 and are my go-to blush and highlight almost every single day, providing fresh and lasting color.”
Nicole of Moments That Define Life and Savvy Sassy Moms Managing Editor loves Revlon Top Speed Vintage 570 Nail Color, “It’s this fabulous deep magenta color that’s perfect for the transition between summer and fall. It goes with the brightly hued pieces of summer that I still put on but adds a pop of color to the blacks, greys and chocolates that I will be bringing in as the fall and winter approaches and at $5.99 ($3.97 on Amazon!!) it’s the perfect price point for this mom on a budget!”
Franki of Those Young Moms is loving Cover Girl Fresh Complexion Under Eye Concealer, and she says, “I only have a few essential daily make-up products, and under-eye concealer is a huge one. Under-eye concealer can give you that “I’ve had eight hours of sleep!” look even if it’s only been more like four! This concealer more than measures up to the more expensive brands. The formula is very lightweight (no creasing!) and has skin-brightening pigments that diffuse light, making your eye area look bright and awake. I have one for at home and one that stays in my make-up bag in my purse!” Franki let me tell you that I am so buying this on my next trip to Target or CVS.
Alli of Diapers-n-Heels is in love with eyeliner, and a girl after my own heart. Now that she mentioned the Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner, I am going to get this one too. She says, “I am an eyeliner girl and love how smooth this eyeliner goes on. It doesn’t smear and stays on throughout the day. Its a self sharpening pencil so no fuss ther. There is absolutely no need to use the more expensive products when all your needs are met with this one!” Amen on not spending extra money Alli.
Sherry of The Life Of The Party and one of SSM newest contributors says her favorite under $10 beauty product is Physician’s Formula eyeliner [Eye Definer Automatic Eye Pencil], “it’s super cheap and it lasts all day long. I find that it measures up to any of the pricier brands out there.” Add this one to my list of eyeliners to buy too.
My favorite under $10 beauty product is the L’Oreal Studio Secrets One Sweep Smoky Eye Shadow for All Eyes. This smoky eye palette is so awesome because you can do it super light for daytime, and pile it on for night time. I even use some of the colors independently with a eye shadow brush.
Andrea the founder of Savvy Saasy Moms is loving mark. Juice Gems Squeeze on Lip Gloss. Andrea and I were at the AVON party during BlogHer ’12 when we received these glosses, and I have to agree that these glosses are phenomenal. They aren’t gooey or sticky which in my book, and I’m sure many of you will agree, is the sign of a great lip gloss. On top of all of that every color rocks.
