Halloween Snack Mix for a Tasty Treat

In Recipes by Carrie Beth & Jen1 Comment

Halloween kicks off a string of holidays that have us over indulging in yummy treats and we are here for it! This Halloween snack mix is simple to put together and the perfect treat to munch on at home or to package and share with teachers, neighbors and friends.

We’re all about keeping things easy in the kitchen and this treat is about as easy as it gets. With only 4 dry ingredients and no cooking, it is quick to make and virtually mess-free. This is the perfect treat to let your kids help you make!

Sweet and salty combo

Some may look at this Halloween snack mix and think that it is an odd combination. We also know opinions are very mixed regarding candy corn…you either love it or hate it. However, there is something about this sweet and salty mixture of flavors that makes it so good! We don’t even really care for candy corn, but stick it in this snack mix and we just can’t stop eating it.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Cheerios
  • 4 cups of pretzels
  • 2 11 oz. bags of candy corn
  • 4 cups of miniature marshmallows

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Stir to mix well.
  3. Store in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.

Seriously, that is it!!!  So very simple!

Sharing is caring

We always make a batch of this Halloween snack mix to have at home during the month of October, but we also love to share it!  We’ve been known to give it to teachers, bus drivers, coaches, neighbors or really anyone.

You can package this Halloween snack mix in mason jars, themed treat cups, or clear cellophane bags. Just tie a cute coordinating ribbon around it and you have the perfect little gift.  It’s such an easy and cute way to say “Happy Halloween” and bring a smile to someone’s face.

Most important what I like about Halloween Snack Mix is – It is best combination of salty, sweet, crunchy and chewy all in one marvelous mix.

It sounds simple to make, I’ve not tried yet in my home but curious to give try once. Thanks for sharing your sweet experience with us.

    With best wishes,
