Unless you’re living under a rock, you are probably aware that the much anticipated Cars 2 hits theatres today! I saw it and here are my “7 reasons to see Cars 2 this weekend” but I have to say the the entire experience of hitting the world premiere was pretty amazing. I have been to a handful of movie premieres and red carpet events, but they hit this one out of the park. The movie took place at the El Capitan Theatre and they turned Hollywood Blvd into a Red Carpet race track, it was pretty cool. They even had the real life versions of Lightening McQueen, Tow Mater and Finn McMissile.
The after part was incredible – a “Car-land” type carnival took over the entire Hollywood High School football field. Kids could get wild in the Good Year Tire play yard, race go-carts, take some fun photos and there was a variety of food booths. Sure, there were celebrities swirling around and believe it or not, I even got star struck.
David Beckham and a very pregnant Victoria Beckham were there with their two sons. They were the most adorable and sweet looking family. She was snapping pictures of the kids while David went over and got them cotton candy while two security guards walked only a few feet away. They looked like such a normal loving Mom & Dad just hanging out with their kids at a carnival. Well, besides the 4 inch black Louboutin boots Victoria Beckham was rockin’. (not so normal) but I am so glad she did because the image now forever stamped in my mind, is perfect. Talk about the ultimate Savvy Sassy Mom.
