In my free time I like to search Homeaway rentals such as this gorgeous Seggiano Chateau in Tuscany!  I fantasize about watching the sunset with a glass of wine while my kids frolic in the fields and my husband rubs my feet.  Then I wake up an realize it’s 5:30 and I haven’t even thought about what’s for dinner!  So, I typically open a bottle of wine pour myself a glass and stand in the middle of the kitchen and think about what I could possibly throw together.

It’s summer and the last place i want to be is in the kitchen, which is why I have always been a HUGE fan of Bertolli Meals – why? Because they take 9 minutes to make and taste good!  They also let me keep my fantasy alive for just a little while longer.  When you can’t physically get to a Tuscan Chateau in Italy and have a native italian chef cook you dinner, its the next best thing!  My favorite is the Shrimp, Cherry Tomato and Penne and my kids love the Chicken Parmigiana & Penne.

  66. I was totally enchanted with Florence Italy. My favorite Italian meal here in the US is lasagna but in Italy I love their simple pasta and the many light seafood sauces they pair with the fresh pasta.

  93. My favorite Italian city is Rome. I spent an extended period of time in Italy, but I took a day trip to Rome and I just liked the busy feeling it had. Wasn’t so fond of the fact it was August and around $4 for a can of soda, though. I’d bring my own food next time.
