Can’t wait to fill this with baby items soon!
When my husband and I found out we were expecting our second baby, I had the usual feelings of excitement, a bit of apprehension, and joy you feel when you find out you’re pregnant. Then, once the thoughts of “oh gosh, we are adding to our family!” died down, I started thinking about all of the great shopping I could begin to do 😉 I am an accessory fanatic, and I knew my diaper bag would definitely be the one item that I carefully chose, not only for style but for functionality as well. I was given the chance to review this gorgeous Timi & Leslie canvas messenger bag, and I could not be happier with it!
Timi & Leslie was created when Leslie Newton needed a gift for a friend’s baby shower and decided to create her own lovely bag. She designs the bags with beautiful vintage-inspired fabric and what is left is a diaper bag that is indistinguishable from a stylish purse. Leslie says her bags are for “the woman in every mom,” and I can’t agree more with that statement! Being a mother does not mean you are relegated to shapeless, style-less accessories because you need something practical. Timi & Leslie diaper bags effortlessly merges fashion-forward style with function so you don’t have to make that sacrifice.
I snapped up the “Joey” messenger bag from her canvas collection, and was amazed with how much room there is in the bag, as well as the amount of pockets! There are 13 pockets in total, all with a water-resistant lining. No more losing keys or other necessities deep in the abyss that can become your diaper bag. Your baby items will be easily organized and accessible. The bag also comes with custom, non-slip stroller straps, so you can free up stroller storage while you’re out running errands with your little one. Instead of wrangling with your diaper bag while trying to pick up groceries, it can be securely strapped to your stroller handle.
Another feature I love is that the lightweight bag is PVC-free, which is a weight off of a toxin-concerned mama’s mind. The canvas bag also comes with a changing pad with mesh pockets for wipes, diapers and diaper cream for quick diaper changes. Going to be out for a while, and have bottles that need to be kept warm or cool? The bag has two handy insulated bottle pockets to keep your baby’s bottles the temperature they need to be. Everything you need is included in this bag, and is easily organized so you aren’t forever rooting around looking for what you need!
Our baby isn’t due until the beginning of July, but I am already itching to fill this bag with baby’s (and mom’s!) necessities! I know I will get a lot of use out of this gorgeous Timi & Leslie bag.
