Swimsuit Confidence and a Post Baby Body

In Living, Style by savvysassymoms35 Comments

It’s apparently Swimsuit Confidence week and well I’m a sucker. ย So here is a picture of me in myย Lands’ End Carmel Swimsuit. ย Yes, this is me fully exposed on a Monday morning, thinking I shouldn’t have drank that third glass of wine and ate all that sushi last night!

This belly I am bearing has held two children inside of it! ย  Hey, I’m no Brooke Burke but it’s not too bad. ย So ladies, your body may not go back to the exactly the way it was before children but you can still look pretty damn good! ย I thought it was important to do this because no one is perfect and we all should be able to wear a swimsuit and not feel bad about it! ย So here I am.

  1. I’d have to go with the racerback bikini top and board shorts ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Wow!! Okay…I’m going to have to start doing crunches again! You look great!

  3. Wow you look great! No overhang.. hehe..

  4. So proud of you Andrea!!! Rock that bikini!!! I would LOVE the Geo Print Bandeau Tunic Swimsuit in blue (and black)!!

  5. Girl you look amazing! No retouching necessary:-) Lands End has some pretty cute & affordable swim suits-I am torn between Seaside Halter One Piece in Rich Red & Seaside Sheath One Piece in Rich Red or Black

  6. I think I’d have to go with the slender sweetheart one-piece. I’m not a big tankini girl, but I love a flattering one-piece. Maybe I’ll get the courage to try a bikini again soon.

  7. I love the Women’s Beach Living Floral Print V-neck Tankini Swimsuit Top with the Women’s Beach Living SwimMini skirt

  8. You look amazing! I wish I had swimsuit confidence! I also wish I had the sheath one piece bathing suit in red! It would cover up my problem area (the stomach!) and look great!

  9. You look great!! The one I would love is: Women’s Regular ShapeWear Ombre Bandeau Tankini Swimsuit Top

What a long name! Good thing I could copy/paste!

  10. I like the Women’s Beach Living Geo Print Bandeau Tunic Swimsuit Top

  11. Go, you!

I like a lot of the Lands’ End suits but right now I’m leaning toward the AquaTerra Batik Print X-Back Tankini Top with the #2 bottom in the green. I have the #2 bottom in black and it’s perfect; not too high, not too low in the leg.

We joined a pool this summer for the first time and now I suddenly feel like I don’t have a big enough swimwear wardrobe! (And don’t tell Lands’ End, but I also just got a couple of cute one-piece designer suits at Bluefly.)

  12. You look absolutely amazing!!

I can’t pull off a bikini, but I love the Seaside Sheath One Piece Swimsuit in red! So classic looking!

  13. I am loving the Women’s Shell Beach Solid Ruffle One Piece Swimsuit…the ruffle on the neck is just so cute!

  14. You look amazing!!!

I’m 9 months out from having my first little one and just having a time with the whole swimsuit thing! It’s amazing how your body changes!!

I LOVE the Shell Beach Ruffle Tankini – in black (bc it’s slimming? LOL!) – it’s super cute and looks like something I could chase around my son in without scaring anyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Hmmm…I’m still working on the confidence part! But you rock it! I think the Lands End Women’s Regular Beach Living V-neck Tankini with the Mini SwimMini bottom would help my confidence a lot. I love the bright coral bloom color too – perfect for summer!

  16. You. Look. Amazing! I have never worn a bikini in my life. I would feel so self-conscious! That being said, I love Lands End’s suit because I am busty and they have great options for D-cup suits. I might, MIGHT, be brave enough to try the Beach Living Paisley Print bikini.

  17. Darn you make me jealous I haven’t had a body like that in yars, you look fabulous! I would rock out in their Women’s Regular Beach Living Floral Print V-neck Tankini Swimsuit Top and
Women’s Regular Beach Living Floral Print Bikini Bottom

  18. I just got my catalog in the mail yesterday and have been loving their bathing suits this year. I’m going for the “high waist swim mini” because I want something to cover my thighs (aka cellulite ๐Ÿ˜‰ and also a bottom that holds my tummy in. I really like the tankini’s but then you loose the tummy control of a one pieces so this really fits all my needs. Would so love to win one…woo hoo
btw…you look really great in your two piece…somthing this 50 year old cannot wear anymore…lol

  19. You look great! I really like the ruffle tankini.

  20. Women’s Regular Sport Tankini Geo Stamp V-neck Swimsuit Top in Tide Pool Aqua Geo with Women’s Regular ShapeWear High-waist SwimMini in Deep Sea.

    You’re lucky though…you look great!

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  21. I would rock the Women’s Regular Shell Beach Solid Ruffle Tankini Top & the Women’s Beach Living SwimMini! ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. Wow–you’re rockin’ that bikini!!! I on the other hand have never worn a bikini and after what the kiddos did to my stomach, will never! ๐Ÿ™‚
But, I do need a new suit for a summer beach vacation so badly and Lands’End has SO many great choices! I think the Women’s Regular All-over Control Slender Tunic Swimsuit would be fantastic–it’s cute and slimming. A win-win! ๐Ÿ™‚ Would love to win–thanks for the chance! ๐Ÿ™‚
