You may recall 2 weeks ago I was obsessed with the gold nail polish the wicked witch played by Julia Roberts had on in the new movie Mirror Mirror. One of the true highlights of this weekend was meeting Lily Collins, who plays Snow White.
Lily Collins is a poised young looking 23 year old that embodies what you would define as sweet. She is very sure of who she wants to be, and is doing it well with a great pair of heels on too. I know it’s shallow please don’t think I don’t know that, but seriously they are gorgeous look at them:
Not only did Lily love the experience of remaking the classic Fairy Tale, she regaled the beauty of the set, and how realistic it was to her that she really felt during filming the movie that she was in the village. She described it like a child describes a trip to Disneyland. It only made the village much more magical to me.
One of my favorite questions to ask people is if they were on a deserted island what 3 beauty products they would need with them. Not brands, just products. Lily’s answer only furthered my realization that I’m a shallow beauty product lover. I always say mascara, face powder and lip gloss. Lily answered that she would take sunscreen, moisturizer and lip balm. See that’s the answer I should always have.
When Lily was asked what her favorite costume was, that’s when I perked up. I loved the costumes, almost as much as the aforementioned gold polish. I thought I’d share my 2 favorites, and then show you Lily’s.
I won’t spoil what scenes my favorites are in, nor will I spoil Lily’s choice, but let’s just say that Eiko Ishioka is an amazing costume designer.
Mirror Mirror comes out March 30th, so get to a movie theater and see Julia Roberts as the Wicked Witch, and Lily Collins emenating the ultimate Snow White.
Lastly, me and Lily….
