This last weekend I got to preview the Mirror Mirror movie out March 30th, got pampered and met Lily Collins “Snow White”. I had a great time, and although I’m no longer an 8 years old, this movie made me feel like one. Mirror Mirror is a modern spin on Snow White. While I’m not able to take my 3 year old to this movie because she’s a touch too young, it’s one that little girls will love.
The costumes, the sets and the star studded cast made this movie such a fun treat. While spending a Saturday afternoon with other bloggers I got my hair and nails done. I got my nails done in this great color by Essie called Turquoise & Caicos. It makes me feel like spring is right around the corner.
In the end my true colors emerged when all I could think about was finding out what gold nail polish Julia Roberts had on in most of the movie. Share in my newest obsession as I lay out the possible options for this gold nail polish I must find.
Butter London’s The Full Monty.
Red Carpet Manicure Gel Polish in It’s a Champagne Night.
Zoya’s appropriately named Gold Nail Polish.
Orly’s Solid Gold.
Deborah Lippmann’s Nefertiti.
Stay tuned for more about Mirror Mirror and an exclusive interview with Lilly Collins. She answers the question “what 3 beauty products would you want if you were stranded on a deserted island?

Since the first commercial for Mirror Mirror I have been obsessed with the gold Julia Roberts is wearing!! Have you tried any of these yet?? And if so, which one did you find to be closest to her polish? I am just dying to get my hands on it!

I think it is probably gold leafing done to each nail with an application of clear top coat.
