There is nothing I love more than seeing a little one come down the stairs on Christmas morning in a pair of cute holiday-themed jammies. My mom always made my brother and I wear festive pajamas — and I fully intend to continue the tradition with my children. Tatum has had a pair of Christmas pajamas since her first Christmas, and each year I get her a new pair for her to put on on Christmas Eve. It may sound a little too cutesy (especially since I also make sure my husband and myself are wearing holiday pajamas as well. It’s mandatory!), but it seems to add to the festive Christmas feeling. It also makes the Christmas day pictures that much more adorable, which I am a fan of.
It gets me down when I go to the store to try and find sweet holiday pajamas for Tatum and I find ones that look exactly the same as the years before. This year, I was on the hunt for something a little more unique and personal, so I took my Christmas pajama search to Etsy. There was no doubt in my mind that I would find great pajamas. I found much more than I imagined! I narrowed down my favourite picks for you to enjoy. Hopefully I’ve inspired you to start the Christmas jammies tradition in your home too!
White Holiday Nightgown – $38.99
I always love a pretty nightgown on little girls, and this holiday one is especially sweet! If you have a girl that’s very girly (like my little one), then this is definitely the way to go for her holiday pajamas! The nightgown is made of soft cotton, so it will be perfectly comfortable for your daughter to wear to bed and during present-opening time, and the festive “Ho Ho Ho” is an adorable Christmas touch!
Holiday Pajama Pants – $5.50
This is a great neutral pair of pajama pants that give off that cozy and warm Christmas vibe. These pajama pants are easily paired with a white t-shirt or any other comfortable top your child would like to wear to bed. It’s a nice alternative if your child isn’t big on the bright reds and greens of most Christmas pajamas.
Vintage Holiday Baby Sleeper – $29.50
How sweet is this vintage holiday sleeper? Even the littlest family members need a pair of holiday pajamas, and this sleeper is SUCH a wonderful find! Comfortable enough to wear for hours on end, this little sleeper will keep your baby warm and comfortable but just as festive as the rest of the family!
Personalized Christmas Pajamas with Matching Doll Pajamas – $52.00
I know there are a lot of girls out there who are completely enamoured with their American Girl dolls. This adorable set of Christmas pajamas for your little girl and her special doll are both adorned with a present applique on the top, and both have a pair of Christmas-themed dot pajama bottoms to compliment the look. I can imagine how thrilled a little girl would be to match their favourite doll!
Monogram Christmas Pajama Top – $26.00
I love this monogrammed pajama top! It just screams “Christmas!” to me. Monogrammed clothing for kids is always fun, and this multi-tasking pajama top can also be worn as a sweatshirt with a pair of jeans or a skirt. I think it would look adorable on a little boy with a white collared shirt underneath and a great pair of dark-wash jeans!
Christmas Light Pajamas – $30.00
These are in-your-face Christmas pajamas…and I like it! These would be great for a boy or a girl, and I love the little chevron star detail on the top of the tree! These look like they would be incredibly comfortable for your little one. I can see these paired with a fluffy kids robe for a comfy Christmas look!
Girls Kimono-Style Christmas Pajamas – $53.00
When I look on Etsy for unique items, this is what I imagine finding. You will not find these kimono-style pajamas in your local department store! The print on the fabric is so lovely, and the ruffles are an adorable touch to these girls pajamas. These pajamas may look high-maintenance, but they are made of 100% cotton and completely machine washable (and dryable!). If you want your little girl to look especially festive in your Christmas day pictures, this sweet pajama set is perfect!
Do you buy your children Christmas-themed pajamas to wear for Christmas morning? Do they love it or hate it?
