Yes, it’s still early Spring, but I am dreaming of barbeques, long evening walks after dinner time, and swimming. Swimming is THE quintessential summer pastime.
When I think of summer, I imagine families camped out around the pool, playing water games, laying out in the sun, eating popsicles and sipping lemonade, and of course sporting their latest beach gear. When I see the kids swimsuits and beach gear come out at the clothing shops I frequent, I let out a little squeal and get far too excited. So many things to choose from! Adorable swim hats, sunglasses, board shorts, tankinis, one pieces! With bright colors and loud prints being such a prominent trend this year for spring and summer, I think it’s the perfect combination for summer fun. What usually comes to mind for me when I think of summer fashion is bright, happy hues. Fortunately this year’s trends are on the same page as I am.
