I had so much fun sharing my gender reveal baby shower with you last month, but I am even more excited to share these fun and affordable ideas for a zebra-themed boy baby shower! I hosted this one for a very good friend of mine who is having a little boy named Luke. She wanted her baby shower to be blue and brown with a chic zebra pattern. My mind instantly started to run wild with creative ideas for the decorations and dessert table for this baby shower…
Baby Shower Wish Tree
When guests walked in, I set up a “wish tree” for everyone to write some wishes and advice for the mom-to-be. I got the zebra printables designed by Pink Clover Designs. This is nice keepsake that the mom will have forever and she can pull these out when times get tough;)
Simple Baby Shower Banner
I made this mini banner with scrapbook paper, glitter and some brown ribbon.
Chocolate Dessert Bar
My friend Julie wanted the dessert table to have tons of chocolate. We’ve all seen cake pops at baby showers but I thought a chocolate fountain with all the treats to dip seemed like the perfect idea! Create our own chocolate dipping station with marshmallows, strawberries, cherries, and even bananas!
Cupcakes, Cookies and Cake Oh My!
The custom made cookies, cupcakes and a fancy zebra cake were made by Decadent Delights. All of these special treats were beautiful and delicious, but the zebra cake was my favorite!
Crafty Centerpieces
I made a pretty centerpiece for the table where the gals were going to sit. I used paper plates and plastic wine cups to keep this shower on a budget. I purchased the glass jar andd votives at a local Goodwill. Great place to find party stuff!
Simple Napkin Rings
Wrap your silverware in a pretty napkin and embellish with something to match your shower…..little details can make a big impact.
DIY Wine Charms
Another cute and inexpensive detail is the “it’s a boy” charms from Michaels that I put on the wine cups tied with some ribbon.
Custom Water Bottle Printables
Wrapping bottled water will “wow” your guests 🙂
I dressed up the brown cups with zebra cut with the Cricut machine. The drinks area turned out cute huh?
Diaper Cake
A great gift to give the expecting mom is a diaper cake. They are simple to make, it makes a stunning decoration for the Baby Shower and she has a supply of diapers to take home!
Baby Shower Party Favors
Last but not least, don’t forget to send the ladies home with a little thank you gift. These candy favors for the moms were made with glass jars from IKEA filled with blue M&M’s and chocolate raisins.
What do you all think? I hope you find ideas you can copy for your own baby shower. What’s your favorite detail? Be sure to come back soon, I’ll have another adorable boy baby shower to share with you!
