The white on white trend is the perfect light and fresh look for summer. By mixing different shades of white will really give your look a crisp and classy monochromatic feel.
Though the all-white trend can be a little intimidating to pull together there are so many ways to achieve a modern and elegant look by mixing shades of off-white like cream, vanilla, ivory, eggshell or bone. Who knew there were so many different shades to choose from? Today I’ve come up with four different looks ranging from ultra casual to a classy and chic ensemble.
1. Chic and Sleek: I think this is one of my favorite looks when it comes to wearing white on white. These are a simple pair of off-white jeans with a ankle zipper in gold, worn with a peplum top. I’ve finished the look with a statement in a fun leopard print heel. This would be perfect for a dinner date with friends.
2. Casual: To keep it casual I suggest choosing two slightly different shades with the jeans being white and the top in a vanilla shade of white. Finish the look in a comfortable pair of Converse Chuck Taylor’s.
3. Fun and Flirty: Nothing says flirty like an ivory lace skirt and a fun sleeveless button top tied at the bottom. This look would be great with either heels or flats. Depending on whether you are going for a day or night look.
4. Crisp and Professional: This look would be perfect for a professional business dinner or event with a simple white pencil skirt and a lace top with beaded detail. The peep toe pumps in beige will pull from the beige colors in the beaded neckline.
