Take a trip around the house with the passport
In our download, you will find 3 pages. The first page is your cover, back cover, information page and a map. To create your passport, fold the first page in half and glue it together. Then, fold your page in half again. The third page has 4 activities built into it. Fold that paper in half and then either staple it or glue the edge into the middle of the book. The second page is blank and is great to add activities that you know your kids will love! Do the same thing folding and gluing the blank page as well and add in.
Once you Passport is assembled, tell the kids it’s time to take a vacation! Have them pack a small bag with items they will need for their trip. Go for a walk around the block and when you get back home, tell them they have arrived at their destination! Check their passports on the way back in the house and get ready to have some fun. Once they get to the first destination, make sure to pull out all the stops and I bet you will have fun too!
The destinations on this passport include a trip to the grocery store. If there was ever a time to let the kids “buy” all the chips, chocolate and candy! Then they will head to the movie theatre, so get ready to make lots of popcorn and pick a fun movie for you all to watch together!
They will also collect all their stuffed animals to play games with and then it will be time to go “out” for dinner. There are so many fun destinations to add to your passport and you do this with your kids time and time again! For example, as it gets warmer, add a stop to the ice cream shop and try making our easy homemade ice cream! The kids will love it!! Just have fun and let them go on a “trip” because who knows when the next one will be! Remember, you’re safe at home, not stuck at home!
Have fun! Where will you go on our “trip”?
