DIY New Year’s Eve Favors (Ready in Minutes!)

In Crafts, Holidays & Parties, Kids by JennaLeave a Comment

New Year’s Eve is around the corner! We think every NYE party needs New Year’s Eve party favors. As a parent of your children, truth be told, I’m exhausted! The chance of me staying up until midnight is slim to none, and I am definitely not letting my kids stay up until midnight so that I have cranky, exhausted kids the next day! Let’s be real…if I get to choose how I want to start the year off, I chose to start if off with well rested happy kids on January 1st!

With all of that said, this doesn’t mean that I plan on ignoring New Year’s Eve altogether! I just plan on doing it all a little bit earlier! No matter what time you are celebrating the New Year and whether you are spending it with kids or not, I wanted to share these cute New Year’s eve favors that I know my kids and family will go crazy over!

DIY New Year’s Eve Favors

There’s no better way to bring in the new year than with a sparkle! I created these super cute cards that can be easily attached to sparklers to use when you say the new year begins!

What you will need:
  • 1 package of white card stock
  • sparklers
  • a printer
  • an exacto knife
  • scissors
  • our download
How to make DIY New Year’s Eve Cards

First, download our pre-made printable. Next, print out our printable on your printer after placing the card stock paper into your printer. Cut out the cards then use the exacto knife to cut a slit in the top third and the bottom third of the card. Slip the sparkler through the slits and viola, you are done! Place them all in a jar for your guests to take at the “strike of 12” or place them on the table, whatever feels right for you! Don’t forget to remove the cards before you light them!

We love adding a personal touch to our hosted events. Share your ideas with us below! Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
