There are so many fun and exciting thing to do in Toronto, especially during the holidays. From Glow Toronto to the Christmas Market, there is fun in ever corner of the city! If you are looking for a short and “Sweet” activity, the KITKAT Chocolatory is a great place to visit! KITKAT opened what many people thought was a pop-up store, in Yorkdale Mall. However, during my visit, I learned that the KITKAT Chocolatory is here to stay!!
What is KitKat Chocolatory all about?
Now that the excitement of the new opening has worn off, you are in for a sweet treat without the long lines! When I went, people were lined up through the mall where they waiting for over an hour for their delicious chocolate bar! So, what’s all the hype about? Retail stores are changing from what they use to be and instead, they are becoming focused on the experience. This change has been happening slowly over the last number of years and will continue to happen as time goes on. Soon, this is how all shopping will be. What’s the experience? At the KITKAT Chocolatory in Toronto, you can order your own personalized KITKAT Bar.
What is a personalized Chocolate Bar?
When you get to the front of the store, you are given a form to fill out. This is where your dreams come to life! First, pick your chocolate: white, milk or dark. Then add your toppings: everything you can imagine from sprinkles, to Oreo cookies, to gummy bears, to marshmallows! There are so many to choose from, you will have a hard time deciding! Check off everything you want and head up to the cash to pay. Each bar, which is the size of one and a half regular bars, cost $15. Then, they text you 90 minutes from when you drop off your order for you to come and pick it up. So, my suggestion is to go there first, then do your holiday shopping, and head back to get your delicious treat!
Personalize more than just the chocolate!
Not only can you personalize the actual chocolate bar, but you can write your own personal message on the box! Not sure what to say? They will write something clever on the box for you! I think this is such a sweet gift for a chocolate lover. Also, how cute would this be as a loot bag!!
