Similac Makes Preparing for Baby Number Three a Breeze

With baby number three due in just a few weeks I am hard at work getting everything I can prepared. I know things are going to be more challenging once my husband and I are outnumbered, so I am doing all my due diligence before our little man arrives. One thing I know I do not want is about is figuring out which formula I will want if I need it. Thankfully, Similac has made my decision rather easy and I’m happy to be partnering with them on this sponsored post. While I plan on breastfeeding this baby, as I did my other two children, I want to be prepared in the event that my plans change. I want to make sure that I have an option in place, so that I can give myself grace if I need to feed this baby in a different way. As I have always told other moms, and I remind myself, that fed is truly best and a stressed out mama is never a good thing. While breastfeeding is the gold standard, if using formula this time around is what makes sense for me, then I am all for it!

*Breast milk is the gold standard for infant nutrition. For moms who cannot or choose not to breastfeed, formula can be used. Parents should speak with their pediatrician about what type of infant formula is best for their child*

Welcoming a new baby into a busy home

This third baby is already coming into a super busy household and I will do my best to keep illnesses from slowing us down. From music classes to playdates we are on the go all the time. I am choosing because I know the support it provides my new addition’s immune system will be amazing. Similac Pro-Advance and Pro-Sensitive both have 2′-FL Human Milk Oligosaccharide* (HMO). This is an amazing prebiotic that will help baby’s immune system to be more like a breastfed baby. I also feel good knowing Similac will provide my little one with everything he will need for the whole first year.

Similac is a brand I can trust

In addition to immune support I wanted something that I felt confident about feeding my child. Similac has no artificial growth hormones.** When making choices for the dairy beverages my toddlers drink this is one of my requirements and I am glad to see that I can accomplish this with the formula we choose, as well. Just like this will be my first little boy, and the only once since this baby factory will be closed, is the first and only leading infant formula brand to be free of artificial growth hormones and have those amazing HMOs.

Now that I have our feeding plan figured out, I can get back to washing these adorable little boy outfits. I am so excited to use them!

*Not from human milk
