Greek yogurt is a staple in our house. I love it for the low calories and the amazing protein punch it packs in every cup. My son loves it because, well, it tastes good. So, when I heard that Pinkberry, one of my all-time favorite frozen yogurt shops, will now be offering fresh Greek yogurt and coffee for breakfast at select Los Angeles stores, I was stoked. And if it does well, you can expect to see it at other stores in the near future.
Now don’t be confused. This is not frozen Greek yogurt. It’s actual fresh, creamy yogurt with a variety of new toppings. You can go sweet or savory. I had a chance taste both options at a recent event and I must say I was a little hesitant about the savory choices, but they happened to be some of my favorites. Their cucumber offering features Pinkberry Greek topped with fresh cut cucumber, sesame nuggets, diced red and yellow, a drizzle of honey, and a touch of chili powder. Totally yummy!
These treats come in two sizes – meal and snack. I was totally full with just the snack size. Plus the calorie count is super low – about 90 calories per snack size plus the toppings. It also packs a whopping 18 grams of protein, so you’ll feel fuller longer. Did I mention it’s also fat free? Not bad. That’s something you can feel good about.
If you live in the Los Angeles area you can check out the new offering at the Beverly Hills, Century City, Marina Del Rey or Santa Monica locations.
Moms, which of the below Pinkberry Greek options are you excited about trying?
