Pediped is hot, hot, hot for summer

And, they aren’t just for babies anymore
When my daughter (who is nearly 10 now!) was a baby and a teeny tot, I loved Pediped. They were so soft and flexible on her learning-to-walk-feet, while still giving her the look of wearing a real shoe. I remember when she grew out of her last pair, without a bigger size to grow into and it was devastating for this shoe-loving mom.
When Pediped told me that they now serve kids in shoe sizes all of the way up to Youth 4/4.5 with their Flex line, I was thrilled and excited to try them for my preschooler and kindergartner, knowing that they’d be the same Pedipeds that I’d loved years earlier.
A summer must-have: Water shoes with style
Finally, a pair of water shoes that are cool and, that he can wear outside of the beach or water park without skipping a step. Everett immediately fell in love with the Pediped Flex Sahara and it was actually a full week before he even took them in the water, realizing how cool they were both in and out.
I appreciated that we could pack these shoes as our one-and-only pair for our daily summer adventures — Everett could wear them to a park playdate in the morning, then straight to a dentist appointment in the afternoon and literally into the water at our local splash pad to cool down in the evening. My favorite part about these shoes? That even when they are wet, they go on easily.
Sweet and sassy summer shoes for girls
I am not exaggerating when I tell you that from the moment the Flex Lynn Pedipeds arrived in the mail, my daughter, Meg, hasn’t taken them off. As a girl whose feet are moving and wiggling and dancing and jumping the most in our family, comfort is essential, especially with sandals and these fit the bill. First of all, they are gorgeous — her eyes lit up as soon as they came out of the box and she gave a wholehearted 6-year-old swoon over their shiny silver color and pretty sequins (Mom note: The sequins have actually stayed on these shoes, rather than rubbed off in the first five minutes, like usual!).
Despite her love for their physical appearance, what I could tell Meg really adored about Pediped’s Flex Lynn Sandals was that they were comfortable — you can even see the cushioning on the foot bed of the shoes — and that they were a breeze to get on and off, with Velcro on both the top and bottom straps for super easy adjustments.
