Holiday Manicure

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Time for hot peppermint mochas and fresh baked cookies and for stuffing ourselves with comfort food! ‘Tis the season for twinkle lights and bundling up in layers, and of course, for festive holiday manicures! Whether you’re at a cocktail party, wrapping presents or spending time with your loved ones, here are a few of my favorite holiday DIY manicures to get you in the spirit.

Everyone loves a pretty fair isle print for winter! It just screams holidays! To recreate the first manicure pictured, get yourself a white nail art pen and get creative! To create the lines, just hold your hand as steady as you can and exercise patience. 😉 I used the same nail art pen for the candy cane nails, as well.

For the blue and white nails, I used a matte top coat that adds a really cool effect and takes the shine away!

Glitter is always a fun touch to add some sparkle for extra holiday cheer that goes with any color! I used quite a few glitter polishes on many of these looks. Don’t want to go buy several glitter polishes? No problem. On a couple of these looks, I just used a clear glitter top coat right over the original color!

What’s your favorite holiday manicure look?

  1. These look so pretty! I will take your advice on the glitter top coat, seems like a better choice than buying several glitter polishes. Thanks!
