#FashionFriday Fall Color Trend {Oxblood}

In Style by Sherry2 Comments

Oxblood is this seasons hottest color trend for good reason. Its deep burgundy and edgy reddish tones give off a rich and sophisticated look.  This is a great color that really has a way of complimenting all skin tones. Worn with neutrals like we’ve shown here  in the following style boards will give you examples of how you can  warm up your fall look to smokin’ hot!

Oxblood pairs really well with tan almost gold colored leathers. That is why we chose these great Michael Antonio McKenzie stiletto boots. A crossbody bag with  gold accents, works very nicely with a semi casual look like this one. Did we mention nail polish in oxblood is also a popular trend. Along with all of the other dark nails we are seeing so much of lately, you might as well add this one to the mix.

We’ve mentioned that skinny jeans and leggings are here to stay for awhile. Leather has become a big part of this trend. Why not, we wore leather in the 90’s why not one more round. I think of all the leather skinnies I’ve seen out there- these might just be a new favorite. Just throw on a neutral cowl neck sweater and add a little animal print and you’ve got yourself a stylish yet simple ensemble.

Layered looks with fabulous jackets are also spot on style this season. We’re seeing a lot of leather and suede waist length jackets with interesting collars, straps and buckles. We’ve completed this look by using a tan/gold pair of skinny jeans and some ankle boots.

How do you feel about this Fall’s color trends?
