Dinosaur Nursery

Finding the perfect nursery theme for a boy can sometimes be daunting so Savvy Sassy Moms set out to give you a few Dinosaur themes  in two different color palettes to gives you some ideas for a fabulous nursery for that precious little boy.  Both of these style boards are done in a modern theme but you can easily add traditional pieces to both sets and it will look equally as nice.

In our  first inspiration board we found this great modern art piece at an Etsy store called Giraffes and Stuff  that really will set the color tone for the room. We pulled from all of the colors in the art print to bring this room to life right down to the book Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs by Sandra Boynton available at Right Start. Another fun element we love adding to nurseries are themed carts like this Teamson Kids Dinosaur Kingdom Cart that can be used to both store toys and eventually become a great toy for baby to play with when they get a little older. We chose a bright orange hanging lamp to go over the modern rocking chair and a nice table lamp with green foliage to pull the dinosaur  theme together.

In our second set we chose a neutral theme which is always a good start to any room because you can add splashes of color to give the room a bit more personality and you can easily change these colors through the years. Once again we used a few modern pieces of furniture and found this great Dinosaur Kingdom table and chair set by Teamson Kids available at Right Start. This is a great piece of furniture to pull accent colors for this room with the greens, orange and subtle hints of blue.

What are some of your favorite themes for a boy’s nusery?
