Best of Beauty 2011

It wouldn’t be the end of the year without a beauty best round up. I’ve pulled together a list of beauty products that stood out from the crowd this year.

This list is in no particular order because I could never decide which one is better then the one before. Each holds a special place in my heart.

Beauty Best of 2011Suave stole my heart this year in hair products with their Humectant Moisture shampoo, conditioner and dry shampoo. The under $3 a piece price doesn’t hurt either.beauty best of 2011

The beginning of the year brought us the OPI crackle polish in black, but the polish was such a hit that they expanded the crackle to more color fun. Beauty Best of 2011

I found the best pink nude color in Ilia’s Blossom Lady. Not only is the perfect color, but it feels fantastic on my lips. I use mine sparingly now because I’m afraid of running out. beauty best of 2011

The Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips takes the nail polish dry time down to zero minutes, and comes in great colors and patterns. Who could ask for more in a nail polish.best of beauty 2011

The Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara crept up on me without even knowing it. I didn’t think I’d like it, but I’m actually in love and on my 3rd tube.beauty best of 2011

L’Oreal One Sweep eye shadow was something I really didn’t like at first, but when I got the Smoky Eye palette I thought it was absolutely genius. Now I have 3 different color palettes I love.best of beauty 2011

Looking for a flattering red lipstick? It doesn’t matter you skin tone when it comes to NYX Soft Matte Cream in Monte Carlo. This lipstick flatters everyone, and is under $5 to boot.best of beauty 2011

No matter how many face primers I tried, none really did the trick, or felt weightless. I’d move on hoping to find the one that would work. When my friend gave me a bottle of Murad’s Skin Perfecting Primer Acne and Shine Control the search was over. I had finally found the right primer for my oily-adult-acne face. It’s worth every pretty penny because it goes on like air, keeps my face a little less oily and helps keep my make up in place.best of beauty 2011

Did you discover any new beauty products this year that you want to share? Leave me a comment because I’m always looking for the next thing that’s going to rock my make up collection.

Happy New Year Everyone!
