My 7 Savvy Picks for back to School from American Living
The first day of school has started for many and ours is right around the corner. What’s a better way to kick off the school year than setting some savvy goals! American Living wanted to know my kids goals and I thought this was a great conversation to have in order to start the year of right! (first I made sure they knew what a “goal” was) I have a few goals of my own for the kids, like learning to tie shoes, getting to bed on time and creating a chore/reward program. But here is what Mckenna had to say,
“I want to be a cheerleader, have perfect attendance, get good grades, make a new friend and do well on the BIG test!”

My little guy is starting at sisters big school and so we needed to get him some uniform essentials right away. One of my favorite memories of Back to school was the new clothes, I think I may have liked it better than Christmas morning! I remember shopping at the mall with my Mom like it was yesterday. My son loves wearing his “handsome” clothes and American Living has the style, quality, and price, but as far as goals this is what he had to say,
“I want to do good in school, have a nice teacher, make new friends, learn to read and do math, real, real, real good”

i love the floral peasant top and one button sweater for her and the button down for him. My son loves “handsome” clothes too, we need to restock since he outgrew EVERYTHING from last year
