The holiday season has come upon us, and I know you can’t help but shop for those holiday party outfits. Don’t forget to pump up your make up with a little gold.
There are so many options this year in gold make up that it can be a little daunting. From eyeliner to nail polish there are so many great ways to add a little gold to your outfit.
NYX Cosmetics Slide On Pencil in Glitzy Gold ($8) would be perfect with some fake lashes.
You can make your eyes stand out with the Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow in Give Me Gold ($7.99).
How about stepping up the eye make up a notch with the Zink Color GOLD FLAKE Elegant eye make up 2 glimmer ($1.99).
For a subtle gold nail polish you could go with Essie nail polish in golden nugget ($8).
Stila’s famous eye color in Kitten now has a glitter eyeliner in Kitten ($16).
However, if you want to go with a bold gold nail polish try Zoya‘s Goldie ($8).
Add a little gold to your lips with the Cargo Lipgloss in Sahara ($14) .
There’s also Napoleon Perdis Luminous Lip Veil in Gold & The Beautiful ($20). It has a more subtle color for layering on other colors to give a gold tint to any coler.
Of course in the end you could just go for the MAKE UP FOR EVER Glitters in Gold ($13), and dust it anywhere and everywhere you’d like).
When you arrive at the party with you gold make up on, not only will you be the chicest person there, but you will shimmer in the light.

I really like the colors in the Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow. I wonder how long it lasts?
Tara,
If you use an eye shadow primer, you can ensure that it will be long lasting. For the price I say try it 😉
