A closer look at NYDJ Spring Collection {giveaway}

NYDJ Spring 2013 Collection

Colored denim, floral denim, printed denim, paisley denim, animal print denim. Seriously, it’s like being in an ice cream shop trying to decide between mint chocolate chip, pistachio and carmel tiramisu. Pick a flavor any flavor or why not just get all three?

I was able to see up close and personal the latest NYDJ Spring 2013 collection and the racks were filled with so many vibrant colors, exotic prints, wild patterns and even some fun embellishments. There is definitely something for everyone not matter what your age. That is what I love about NYDJ, women of all shapes, sizes and ages can wear these flattering pants and feel right on trend. I also personally love that jeans have gone from blue, black and grey to a sea of beautiful ocean blues, coral oranges and pastel pinks. Fashion should be creative, fun and colorful.

Zippers

Definitely a new denim trend is zippers  You’ll be seeing them on the side of the leg, the back of the leg and on the front flat pockets.  I don’t know about you but zippers in the sides of my pants remind me of when I was a teenager in the late 80’s, first neon, now zippers!  This is proof that everything in fashion seems to come back around.

Minty

NYDJ also has a new collection of stunning tops. Most of them have a relaxed comfortable fit while staying super stylish and chic. Many of the tops come in beautiful shades of minty pastel colors.  Another trend to watch out for is dressing monochromatic, minty green denim with a minty green top.  The shades can vary in color but be sure to go more neutral on the accessories and keep it light.

Ombre

The ombre trend started with hair and has now found it’s way down to shirts and colored denim. Ombre simply means shade and I have to say, !’m loving it. This coral shirt is gorgeous and reminds me of sherbet ice cream.  With the right necklace and some chunky bracelets you will look delicious!
