In October, we went to the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas to view all of the new products coming out for babies and families. We saw some pretty incredible things! The show is larger than life with so many brands to see and products to try! This year at the show, we had our eyes open for products that wowed us, and we couldn’t wait to share the best products at the ABC Kids Expo 2017 with you!

Customized Strollers
For a new mom out there, choosing a stroller can be difficult. These stroller brands make the choice easy with all of their customization features. Handlebars, high fashion fabrics and colors galore!

Mima believes that you should not sacrifice style for functionality. There is no question that these strollers are stylish. With the double basket on the bottom of the Xari, there is room for babies belongings and yours. The colours are undeniably beautiful with rose gold as a base option. We love the unique feature that the bassinet or “carrycot” turns into the seat instead of having two separate seats that you need to store when your baby grows out of it. The seat can face in or out and has an extendable canopy to provide full or partial coverage of your child.
Zigi is a modern version of a lightweight, compact stroller. You can use this stroller from birth by purchasing an adapter for the carseat. A huge bonus: this stroller fits into 70% of overhead compartments for travel and can be folded with one hand!
Cybex
The stunning new patterns from Cybex caught our eye immediately. Our number one favorite is the Birds of Paradise Collection. Available in the Mios and the Priam, it is stylish and functional. We were blown away by the other designs that are hitting stores this year. The Koi Collection is equally stunning! Both collections are offered in the Yema, a fashion forward carrier made by Cybex. Car seats from Britax
Britax recently launched their Spark collection. If you follow us on Facebook, you can check out our Facebook Live showcasing the carseats while we were at the show. Spark is Britax’s first all-knit fashion, exclusively sold at participating Brixy independently owned baby stores. These carseats are for children from birth-big kid and are made from a fabric that mimics the everyday style and comfort of athleisure lounge wear.
Spark is available on the Britax Endeavours infant car seat, Boulevard ClickTight ARB convertible and the Frontier ClickTight Harness Booster. Baby Products
Bandanas for kids are all the rage! Wet shirts and burp cloths are no longer in style. We met with Copper Pearl who offers the cutest bandanas in every print imaginable. Parents love them because they are the perfect thickness and are super soft. The Snap closure also makes them easy to put on and take off when baby is in the car seat or lying down. They recently came out with the cutest top knot hats as well. Talk about must-haves this fall for your baby.
If you don’t know Finn + Emma, they are the makers of sustainable baby clothes, toys and gear, with a classic contemporary, whimsical and sophisticated touch. Our favorite product from ABC Kids Expo
Noninoni kids was hands down, our favorite product of the show. A crib with absolutely no hardware and no tools needed to assemble! In just minutes, you can assemble it and take it apart. The whole crib made up of and put together by wooden slats that slide together. It is 100% safe and the most convenient product we have ever seen. Instead of unscrewing all the screws to drop the crib mattress lower as your baby gets older, you simply move the slats in just a few seconds.
This product is perfect for every nursery and really convenient for places like Grandma’s house. Grandparents can can put the crib together when your baby is there for a visit and then take it apart and place it under a couch or in a closet when you go back home. Noninoni kids have also come out with the cutest toy cribs that are a perfect model of the real thing. Your kids will love putting it together and playing with it. We are giving one away in their mint color!
Let’s talk mom stuff
We saw so many great products that would have made life so much easier when we had babies. Even though Addison is only three, so much has changed since she was born! Covered Goods has been one of our favorites since they launched many years ago. Not only do we love the covers, but we also love Jamie, the mama behind the brand. She stared sewing the covers in her basement when she needed a product that would give her 360 degree coverage while breastfeeding. Talk about the sweetest mama around! The newest patterns are gorgeous and go with every mom’s style.
We love baby products that make shopping easier
A new product that we saw at the show is Binxy Baby. Binxy Baby is a cart hammock to remove the anxiety about shopping with a baby. This product fits onto a cart and can be used as a hammock for your baby where you can buckle baby in, or you can place the car seat into the hammock buckling it in to ensure it’s safe and secure. Binxy Baby is literally a dream for moms!
Speaking of on-the-go, we stopped by Silikids and Zoli to see what new and exciting products that they had to offer! We love the new Gosili to-go coffee and tea cup for you and for your mini! The silicone cup has a unique metal ring at the top of the cup to ensure it keeps its shape. Throw it in the microwave or the dishwasher, it’s safe. Zoli also has some awesome stuff for kids lunches, feeding at home, and babies. The new bunny teethers are super cute and easy for baby to hold. We also can’t get enough of the Nosh plates and bowls. They are ceramic and silicone and can’t wait to incorporate them into our home.
Products to help you customize your photos
Time flies when you have a baby and we want to remember it all as it goes by. We loved the Baby’s First Year sets from Lulujo. Forget making signs and printing them out for your monthly pictures. Lulujo has done it all for you with their beautiful blankets and matching cards.
Keep everything you need in one place
Ju-Ju-Be has come out with The Dutchess, a bag that is designed to pack your breast pump and accessories in. Imagine how amazing it would be to pack your breast pump in a bag with all of your other necessities for a day out with the kids. This bag let’s you do just that in typical Ju-Ju-Be style. Thank goodness brands like this are thinking about everything for us while we all have ‘Mommy Brain’.
Calling all baby wearing mamas! We stopped by Moby to see what they had going on. At the show, they launched the Moby Fit. Moby Fit is the newest item to their line that you simply slide on, sort of like a backpack, that can be easily adjusted for a custom fit. This sling is meant for infants and toddlers and can be worn in a front-inward and front-outward position. It will be available in late December 2017.
We love seeing new brands
Zalamoon is a new brand that we haven’t see before. Together with Tinseltot, they showcased a beautiful booth of many unique products! Zalamoon showed their Infinity Shawl that can be worn in more than 9 ways. It’s fashionable and functional and can take you from day to night! We also loved the Luxie Pockets that ensure baby never looses their paci. Tinseltot showcased their beautiful play mats that are uniquely designed to cover your existing carpet. Simple place on, play and remove. They are machine washable and easy to store. We love them so much, we can see them becoming a part of our decor!
We enjoy seeing old friends
Our friends at Petunia Pickle Bottom were at the ABC Kids Expo as well! One of the most successful products at the show for PPB is their Intermix Line. This modular system of bags and packing pods are designed to mix, match, and make your own to keep mom organized from the nursery, to the stroller, to on-the-go adventures. The Axis backpack has an insulated cooler bottom, allowing parents to safely transport snacks and beverages. This feature is incredible for travel! The grid caddy fits in the bottom of the bag, so essentials can go from the diaper bag to the stroller handles in seconds
Recycled toys and winter gear
When it comes to toys, we are big fans of Green Toys. They are environmentally friendly and socially responsible children’s products made from nothing but recycled milk containers material! Their vehicles, play sets and bath toys are all fun and engaging for kids and durable! We loved some of their newest items such as the Bake by Shape and Flower Maker Dough Set. Both you and your kids will love these extra durable toys. As educators, we love everything about this brand!
7AM is a brand we love for their extra warm winter gear and gorgeous bags for both moms and kids. We loved their backpacks for back to school and their new line is even more stunning. The wing backpacks are next level!
