This past Saturday, one of my favorite stores, J.Crew, hosted a morning of shopping and goodies to celebrate back-to-school with part of the proceeds from sales supporting the Baby Buggy organization. Baby Buggy is a non-profit that is committed to providing baby essentials from cribs to bottles to strollers to families in need. They provide approximately 60,000 items each month!
The morning was filled with scrumptious goodies (red velvet cupcakes, anyone?), awesome balloon animals for the kids, and the highlight of the event – a crewcuts fashion show! The kids that walked the short runway were beyond adorable and the crewcuts clothes on them to-die-for cute. (Seriously, J. Crew, why don’t you make some of these in adult sizes?!)
[scrollGallery ID=105]Some of my favorite items from the fashion show:
2. Boy’s suede MacAlister boots
4. Boy’s two-button wool blazer
5. Girl’s double flower headband
All in all, it was a fun morning for a great cause, and Little Miss got to go home with an awesome monkey balloon animal while this mama got to eat cupcakes and shop. Now that’s what I call a win-win!
