It is time to ! If you are planning a family or already have one, then you know that a family comes with a lot of stuff! We are constantly looking around our homes thinking about how as the kids get older, their stuff gets bigger and our homes feel smaller and smaller.
Buying a today is not as easy as it once was. If you are new to the market, the thought of buying a home likely feels very overwhelming. So many people that we know who are dating, early married or just starting a family are always telling us how they don’t know how they will get started in a home. When you have young kids, it’s more than just the physical home that you need to think about. Buying a home in a community is so important, which changes the areas that you look in. Finding a home in a safe, non-congested area where kids can play and be kids without worry is at the top of the priority list for many.
A new community
A community for young families is an area with a good school, ample parks to choose from, a library, a community center to do activities, along with delicious cafes and nice storefronts to go out and shop at. Think of your own childhood. How many memories do you have of playing with your neighbourhood friends on the street after school, walking to school with your best friends and going to the local restaurants when you were a teenager? As parents and parents-to-be we want to provide our children with the best upbringing we can afford and with beautiful options in the suburbs, families no longer feel the need to compromise. A new development in Brampton created by Fieldgate Homes is proving families with an easy choice to buy not only a home at an affordable price point, but a home in a community.
What’s in Brampton?
Brampton has so much to offer. We can’t wait to share it all with you! Upon our visit to Brampton, we stopped in at the Cassie Campbell Community Centre. The state of the art stunning building has an up to date large open gym with a walking/running track that over looks the lobby on one side and the city on the other through the floor to ceiling windows. Across from the gym are 2 skating rinks that are used for both hockey and figure skating throughout the day. Children and adults can play basketball on the indoor court and can swim in the beautiful pools which are accompanied by a large water slide!
In the warmer months, the outside is equipped with even more activities from a BMX skate park, to basketball courts, a splash pad, tennis courts and a cricket pitch. The community centre was filled with people enjoying everything it has to offer creating and welcoming and warm environment.
It’s not just a house, it’s a home
There is no question that Brampton is a beautiful place to live. With less congestion and more land, the homes are beautiful with big backyards for the kids to play. Fieldgate Homes is developing a selection of semi-detached and 41′, 38′ and 30′ detached homes in a development called Upper Valleylands. Upper Valleylands will feature 30 acres of green space, 2 ponds, community parkland, a proposed public elementary school and easy access to the local amenities that exist in Brampton already. If you are looking for a home with a driveway, a backyard and access to lots of outdoor space, then this development is the one for you. Just a ride away
Purchasing a home outside of the city has become a popular choice for many families. With all of the money that our city has put into our public transportation system, working in the city is still realistic. The GO station is just down the street from the Mount Pleasant Village which is just a short walk away from the Mount Pleasant Village Public school and library. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. Surrounded by local restaurants, shops and small businesses, everything is close together creating an even stronger sense of community for the residents of Brampton.
