Etsy featured shop: yellOkids

Etsy is a treasure trove of adorable children’s clothes. But every once in a while, a shop will pop out at you that stands out among the many shops focused on children’s wear, and you won’t be able to walk away from your computer until you’ve purchased one (or several!) of their wonderful, stylish items. Such is the case with one of my favourite shops on Etsy, yellOkids.

The Etsy shop yellOkids is the fantastic creation of two amazingly crafty women, Arta and Ilze. After they became mothers and realized that they wanted to spend as much time as possible at home with their children, they began to sell their creations online and in October of 2012 created yellO, now known as yellOkids!

As it proclaims in their Etsy profile, Arta and Ilze are passionate about colours and sewing, and they have been successful in mixing them together to create the bright, playful, fashionable and functional clothing that yellOkids has to offer. Kids love to be active, and you can be assured that they will be comfortable yet stylish in these adorable duds!
