Most of the time, we know that behind a super styling kid is typically a mom who is making his outfits rock. For Beckem, that mom is Jess, who confesses that if it were up to Beckem, he’d be wearing superhero pajamas 24/7.
Instead, this mama (who is pretty darn stylish herself, if you ask us!) whips up fantastic outfits for her little guy — they’re often casual and ready for adventure, with a kick of cool and an unexpected element. Did you catch that captain’s hat above? Status quo for Beckem’s street style.

Jess also told us that when she’s shopping for Beckem, she starts with her favorites that are mom-based businesses. “I like the idea of one mom supporting another — we need to stick together!” she says. “We’re all working two jobs, 24/7, so if I’m going to spend my hard-earned cash on clothes for Beckem, I’d rather support someone who’s doing the same.”
And, some favorites? For mainstream stores, Jess often picks up clothes for Beckem at H&M and ZARA. For mom-based businesses, Jess heads straight to the source, Instagram, for inspiration and shopping, including @wunwaykids, @prefresh and @freshlypicked.
