Happy 2nd birthday to The Honest Company
Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan, co-founders of The Honest Company, hosted a family friendly shindig to celebrate the brand’s 2nd birthday. Savvy Sassy Moms was invited to attend the event held at Honest’s headquarters in Santa Monica. The company that brings us natural, non-toxic personal care and home cleaning items, produces safe products to families while keeping the cost down.

The office was decked out in gorgeous paper flowers for the event from floor to ceiling. The bright, colorful decorations were smile inducing and paired really well with the brand’s signature teal and white color scheme.
Gorgeous flower arrangements were scattered throughout the space bringing a grown up touch to the kid-friendly event.
A delicious dessert bar was set up along with creative food options for the guests. Mac and Cheese bites were a hit, as were the sweet potato fries served in bamboo cones. Gluten-free options were available as well.
The kids were treated to face painting and balloon animals as well as a drawing area. Because the hands-on founders often bring their kids to the office with them, there is a permanent play structure off the showroom area.
The kids were free to build and play together as their parents mingled and learned more about the products.
Jessica took a minute to do some media interviews but then she enjoyed the party with us. She was friendly and warm and loved to talk about her favorite products.
“Our mission is for families to have the safest and healthiest homes,” Jessica noted at the event. She speaks with passion about the company and their goals.
Attendees were treated to a fill-your-own-gift bag from the company’s numerous products including baby focused items, home cleaning and health and wellness.
Guests also to got to check out the limited edition items of The Collective, a new venture for The Honest Company. Jessica set out to partner with small companies, with a similar outlook on family safety and product design, to create some wonderful collaborations.
These special products are available on the website and include a crib, jogger, diaper bag and baby carrier.
