Flare Jeans for Fall
Flare jeans for fall

We are loving all the fall fashion trends that are popping up in stores and one of our favorites is the return of flare jeans! We can literally hear all the curvy girls and short girls rejoicing from around the country. Why? Because flare jeans make you look taller and they are much more slimming than skinny jeans. For many short girls that have curves — like myself — skinny jeans make us look short and even curvier, which I, for one, am not a big fan of, so I am very excited to see flare jeans back on-trend!

Four reasons we LOVE flare jeans

When wearing flare jeans, you should wear a heel, wedge or boot that gives you a lift and allows for the flare to hang nicely without bunching up at the bottom.

If you are short and need to hem your jeans from time-to-time, you may be able to skip this since you will be wearing heels your flare jeans! Many brands also make short, regular and tall flare jeans, so if regular is still too long, then the short might be perfect.

Flare jeans also help balance out a woman’s hips and butt, making the legs look longer. Flare jeans really accentuate a pear or hourglass shape.

Most jeans have some stretch in them and you’ll want your flare jeans to hug your hips and thighs. Be careful when buying… you don’t want them to stretch out too much! If they start out a little tight, that is okay! With wear they will conform to your body and end up being the perfect fit.

Flare jeans can be pretty spendy, but we were happy to find a few pairs that were also under $100. However, if you wear jeans daily, buying a quality pair that costs a little more is worth it. It’s better to buy one amazing pair that you love and that will last longer than one season than to buy three pairs that you’re not that comfortable in or happy with.
