Child Hunger Ends Here!

 Nearly 17 million children in the United States don’t get enough food to live active healthful lives – that’s one in four kids who don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

I am beyond excited and very proud to tell you that I have been chosen to be apart of a National Campaign with ConAgra Foods and Feed America to help end Child Hunger.  Being apart of something like this is what sends chills down my spin and lets me know what I do matters and how one Mom can have a impact and make a difference.  When I can combine all of my savvy skills, and sassy talents into a project that not only inspires others but helps children, well that makes this MOM very HAPPY!

Over the next month I will be posting information about the Child Hunger Ends Here Campaign so you can get involved and support this cause in your own way and in your own communities.  There will be simple things you can do just by going grocery shopping and purchasing some of the participating brands.

You can turn a Bake Sale, Church Rummage Sale, Food Drive, Yard Sale, School Carnival, Neighborhood Picnic or another existing community event into a Child Hunger Ends Here Neighborhood Rally, simply by donating a portion or all of the proceeds from the event to Feeding America.

Or you can create and host your own event specifically for this cause.  Some other event ideas might be a Dinner Party, School Movie Night, Pancake Breakfast, Ice Cream Social, Girls Night Out, Neighborhood Block Party, or a Mothers Day Tea Party.

  *Feeding America has a network of more than 200 food banks across the nation and so the money you raise or food you collect will stay in your community. 

This March through May, ConAgra Foods is also going to donate $1 to Feeding America for every purchase of a participating brand – up to 2.5 million meals.  Purchase any of these seven participating brands and feel good because your purchase is directly benefiting children struggling with hunger.  Get a Coupon for these Participating Brands
