When you’re travelling, you want a hotel that is in a convenient location, close to where you want to be. Everyone has a different style. Some people like their hotels to be quaint, others prefer modern. Depending on what you’re looking for, there’s always a hotel for you. I personally like to be in the heart of the action, and I always tend to prefer to choose a more modern hotel. On my past trip to Paris Haute Couture Week, I stayed at the Best Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Paris.
Communication is important
At La Villa Haussmann, the concierge services were a particular standout for me. Prior to my departure, I contacted the concierge to see what the facilities were like. I like to have certain conveniences such as a pharmacy and grocery store in close proximity when I travel. I had the pleasure of speaking to a member of the La Villa Haussmann team who answered all my questions, and there were many! The response time was impressive, and needless to say, so was the hotel when I arrived.
Best Boutique Hotel in Paris
Situated on the Boulevard of Haussmann, by the statue of Baron Haussmann, proved to be in a chic and lively district. Just down the street from the Arc de Triomphe, and walking distance to the Champs Elysees, I was situated in the 8tharrondissement. The conveniences were endless and thank goodness for my blistery feet, there was a pharmacy right next to the hotel! A couple of blocks from the hotel and I was at a Monoprix which is a store that combines food, hardware and clothing. A short walk from there and I was at the Galeries Lafayette department stores, I felt like a real parisian!
A room with a view
The room itself was gorgeous. I love the luxury of having a balcony and my suite had two! The spectacular panoramic view of the city include the Arc de Triomphe, Opera Garnier and the Eiffel Tower! Even though, I felt close to it all, the room was extremely peaceful in the evenings.
A multi-sensory atmosphere
The facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a small gym, and a restaurant and bar called N3, where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. There are vintage bikes that guests can take to cruise the city. Once you arrive back from your daily outings there is a romantic outdoor café that captures the true Parisian spirit.
Overall, this was genuinely a really special hotel that I absolutely adore and will return to. I already miss it. I am still thinking about my trip to Paris one month later and I already long to return. And when I do, I will definitely be staying at La Villa Haussmann.
