I interviewed the designer of Agoo and boy is she one BUSY MOM! Agoo started out of a basic need that she felt was missing from children’s clothing. She found herself constantly changing her son to go to the park, gymnastics, grandmas house and even naptime. She wondered why wasn’t there clothes that her son could wear all day? Clothes that were appropriate for gymnastics, comfortable enough to take a nap in, but yet still nice enough to wear to grandmas?
Her inspiration came while looking around at all the MOMs in their cute yoga, athletic wear, they were comfortable and wearing things that allowed them to function through out their busy day. Kids needed the same type of clothes, that let them navigate their day of play!
At Agoo the clothes are made with a conscious, because they care about your kids. The clothing is made with Activo Stretch, which is 88% nylon & 12% Spandex and has a UPF rating of 50+ to protect that precious skin. The stain resistant fabric has been put through the test with ink, mustard and jam. You can literally wash these clothes in the airplane sink and they will dry by the time you land.
Some of the kid friendly and unique features are the handcuff sleeves (no rolling up sleeves here) reflectors on the coats, and magnetic closures instead of zippers. There are even special pockets called “hot wheel pockets” for all those little treasures kids always like to take with them.
